Beauty Inside and Out
Being new to this whole world of blogging I will start out with an introduction....
My name is Hanne and I have worked in the beauty industry for almost 6 years now. I guess you could say I have always had a passion for art, but my real drive to help others feel beautiful all started with a quick trip to the beauty salon.....
You might be expecting a wonderful story about me going to the day spa and becoming inspired by peoples passion for their work... but quite the contrary. Deciding to get my eyebrows shaped, I book an appointment at a busy day spa. The woman takes me into a nice room, with pretty smells and quiet music. I start explaining what I want done... but shes the expert so I leave the fate of my brows in her hands. WHOOPS! When I look in the mirror my whole face seems crooked. The woman doesn't ask me what I think... just goes and waits for me at the til, where I end up not voicing my horror and paying FULL PRICE:
The dilemma was this... I have had my eyebrows colored and waxed without the practitioner paying attention to the whole picture, which would be MY FACE. It literally looked like my eyebrows had inched to the right about 2 cm resulting in my having to draw on the front end of one brow, and the tail end of the other... for a good month.
This made me realize my calling... I CAN DO THIS SO MUCH BETTER!!!! First I applied to makeup artistry, but ended up doing skin care also. My love of painting made make-up just another medium for creating perfect symmetry and complimentary colors on someones face :) Any EYEBROWS though a very vital point on ones face... is just the beginning!
In my line of work I help people perfect their look everyday.. and now i want to give advice to friends, family and anyone who could use a few tips!!
